For the fourth consecutive January, Apta has posted record-breaking sales, with January 2019 sales up a huge 15.3% on January 2018. This is on top of 14.9% growth last January. February schedules are already fully booked and Apta are likely to post a record-breaking February too, with sales set for 18% growth over Feb 2018.
Managing Director Paul Sykes told us, “customers continually tell us they want to see new innovative ranges, and that’s why Apta are at the forefront of product design and development. With our own in-house design team, Apta design and produce new exciting ranges year after year. Furthermore, Apta has an extremely exciting announcement to make later in the year, with a remarkable and iconic brand partnership, which will be launched at GLEE 2019.”
Apta has a strong relationship with the Royal Horticultural Society and sales of this premium glazed frost proof range have seen steady growth over the years. However, it’s the development of new lightweight cement and clay-fibre ranges which are catching the eye of Millennials and Late Bloomers. More and more, consumers are choosing larger and more contemporary planters, and the RHS Urban collection is already proving to be a winner.
The Laura Ashley range of planters developed exclusively by Apta has opened up a market for design orientated planters featuring classic Laura Ashley designs and colours, which add a real style statement to any garden.
Look out for more exciting news from Apta later in the year.
